Reservoir Inflow Projections |

| The plan will provide the reservoir with knowledge of inflow volumes
while flood water still exists in the reservoir's watershed.
This will enable the reservoir to maintain a high recreational pool while at the same time
better manage discharge rates on the rare occasions when measured rainfall projects major
flooding. Accurate inflow projections will enable the reservoir to do a better job of
preventing flooding downstream of the project (in Richland and Byram) and will prevent
sudden fall in the river stages when levels are within downstream channel banks. |
